  AFTER THE FALL presents the latest musical reflections of cellist/multi instrumentalist Hans Christian. Perhaps best described as a creative concoction of vintage electronica, neo-classical string work and imaginative sound design elements, this “album” reflects where Hans finds himself creatively in his fourth decade as composer, sonic traffic cop and producer. His first voice- the cello- is still very present but the vertical and horizontal dimensions of AFTER THE FALL go far beyond the bondage to any particular instrument or musical tradition.
  
  The music of Hans Christian has always had a probing quality- full of beautiful yearning, with a deft shake of creativity and a prolonged love affair with East Indian imagery.
  This new release, however is unbound by the old ways. Again, it was time to dive deep for pearls, to visit the touchstone of the soul, to probe the spirit with pointed questions, to shed ancient and karmic burdens. Not afraid of depth, treasures were brought to the surface, but in new, liberated ways. AFTER THE FALL may appear in darker colors and show intensity that is unapologetic.
